In this campaign’s second half, you will play a tank commander deployed in Libya. The iron sight will help you shoot more accurately while the compass on the heads-up display allows you to see surrounding enemies at a glance. You can add fragmentation and smoke grenades to your arsenal, or add more tools to your firearm. The Germans should no longer have a supply station by the end of your mission but they will press on regardless of the lack of resources. As Sergeant John Davis, you will crawl, crouch, and scale different obstacles to complete the sneak attack on German Afrika Korps troops. The second campaign pits you against Germans.
You can swap your weapons for ones you find on the battlefield. In battle, you can only carry two firearms. Your first mission is in Stalingrad where tasks can be as mundane as reconnecting telephone wires or as critical locking down Stalingrad City Hall. The game begins in Russia where you play Private Vasili Koslov. All these COD playable characters have a total of 27 missions. GameplayĬall of Duty 2 allows you to experience World War II from the perspective of four soldiers: two from the British Army, one from the United States Army and one from the Red Army. The plot is predominantly linear but you can jump between campaigns so you can experience each country - Stalingrad, Africa, and France - at your own pace.
